Bullying can sometimes be difficult to define and to prove. It is therefore important to keep a written record of incidents. This template can be provided to staff and managers to note when and where it occurred, what was said or done, how it made them feel, who was involved, and names of instigators and witnesses. Evidence such as documents or emails can be attached to the record. It can be used at a later date to illustrate a pattern of events that will help support a case and may be seen as valid evidence in a tribunal or court of law.
